I swear we will get around to posting wedding photos sometime before people forget we've gotten married. But for now, enjoy these photos from our recent camping trip to Fahnestock State Park.
We had a total blast and didn't have one fight, especially if you don't count the time when I had to leave Billy at the campsite and go food shopping so I wouldn't have to kill him. Just so as I come clean on that, I should also mention that the reason Billy was so cranky is because I thought it was an awesome idea to go on a 10-mile hike in 100% humidity, even though Billy has never really hiked in his life. Hey. I just wanted to give him the authentic and full-fledged camping and outdoor experience.
During our three days upstate, we did a lot. We hiked, got caught in a rainstorm, roasted s'mores for breakfast, toured the Vanderbilt Mansion, and saw the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome air show. We even managed to visit with Billy's Aunt Annie on our way home. We came home wet and exhausted but incredibly refreshed and smelling deliciously of the earth.
